Come Enjoy Sarah’s wonderful depiction of Love’s Seduction!
“And I couldn’t stop myself from loving you.
I didn’t want to.”
It was you. Everything about you spelled love to me. No one had ever lit my mind on fire like you. Like you knew me better than anyone else. Enough to know how to push my buttons. Match my sense of humor. Or carry an intelligent conversation. No one ever sent tingles down my spine with just one look before. Like you could read every sinful thought that passed through me. I never knew that my body would come alive under your touch. Like you knew what I needed all along. And I couldn’t stop myself from loving you. I didn’t want to.

miles of corn and wheat
as far as our eyes could see
her eyes like the sky
She leaned on me while I drove
blond corn silk on my shoulder
Jackson Browne making me cry
or was it the sun dipping low
stinging and relentless
Free to be wild
Be sure and come read Cara’s intensely heartfelt and raw post – “Free To Be Wild”
I never thought I could smile when I actually felt broken
But when I saw you happily laughing as if we never happened
I knew the only choice I had was never to act sullen
You turned my way and it was like I was invisible before your sight
So I turned away and made sure that I disappeared and took flight
With every passing moment of the silence
The memories got so etched in my mind
I couldn’t lose you in reality and as well as in my heart
Not just yet, my heart kept whispering, not just yet
And cause of that silent whisper I stayed entangled to you
Or rather I latched onto the memory of you
A memory that brought both laughter and tears to me
I told everyone that I was over you
So I could avoid the words and looks of pity they threw…
