You see, it was everything about you that caught me off guard. It was more than your smile, or the sound of your unguarded laugh. It was more than the brilliance of your eyes, or the way you saw me. It was more than the way you carried yourself, or the gentleness in your touch. It was more than your mind — your creativity, ingenuity, and intelligence. It was everything. Before I realized it, you became my everything. And my heart was no longer mine.

When you did you start writing?

I started scrawling poetry and short stories in notebooks in 4th or 5th grade and wrote regularly throughout middle school and high school. Creative writing; however, really took a back seat once I got to college. I enjoyed college! Creative writing and journaling is something that I have come back to over and over again during times of transition in my life and then would slowly drift away from it as life got busier.
