Come and read “Surprised” and see if you can surprise yourself too.

Heart Breathings

I didn’t think I could be surprised any longer,
I thought I’d seen it all,
forty-six years of it, anyway,
but hope is a powerful thing,
an entity of itself –
I can’t stop it,
no matter how much my rational brain tells me that history makes certain things unlikely –
still, I hope

I always hope,
and because of that undying piece of my heart,
I’m often surprised

I’m surprised when things don’t change,
surprised when there’s not even any effort to facilitate change,
despite the apparent unhappiness,
surprised at the lack of ownership,
surprised at the burying of truth,
surprised at the willingness to stay in the same place for so very long

I’m surprised by the elephant in the room,
surprised by how much it weighs in my chest,
surprised by how saying nothing in a very loud way is so deafening

I’m surprised by the deepness…

Parallel World

Do you have a Soulmate waiting in a “Parallel World”? Come read Megha’s beautiful poem.

Megha's World

“What if you find your soul mate… at the wrong time?”
― Lauren Kate, Passion

We are two broken pieces
two pieces of a lost puzzle
missing pieces of a jigsaw puzzle
suppose to complete the picture

We are floating around
in the endless universe
tied by a string
of invisible connection
missing the ends so far

Born out of the same star
sprinkled in the universe as
the dust
we are living and breathing
as separate souls
a miracle etched in time by far

A tug from you
and push from me
can bring us closer and near
we complete each other
and compliment each other in
every way
we finish each other sentences
joined at the hip
like Siamese twins they say

But forever I’m looking
for that starting point
which will bind us together
keep us forever that way

Alas! it’s a wishful thinking
a dying wish
a dream buried in…

Do Not miss this masterful piece “Chapters Of Life – 5” by Keith!!

We’ve all had our beginning, that place we call our hometown,

We’ll each of us have an ending, where and when we do not know.

Everyone starts out small and grows with time,

We age moment by moment in our given lifetime.

There’s a book that we all own, we make the cover,

The words are created from our everyday adventure.

Our chapters of life grow and are counted,

With every sunrise until the last sunset.

It’s an open book of endless pages until we stop writing,

A novel to be remembered by others.

Whom will judge the value or worth from our chapters of life,

Many will try, there will be those who did like it,

Perhaps some who won’t.

In the end it will be from the spirit in the sky.
