The Problem Seems To Be
That It’s Hard For Me To See
An Earthquake As My
Responsibility
Am I To Blame
When My Life
Comes Tumbling
And Crumbling
Down
Like Jenga
Pieces
Upon
My Head
Is The Chaos
And Destruction
A Result
Of My Choices?
My Mistakes?
Is It My Own
Fault
That I Built
My Love Life
On A Faultline?
Was Living In
Tornado Alley
With The Whirlwind
That Was You
A Mistake
And Not Really
A Quirk Of Fate?
And As I Foolishly
Come To The Conclusion
That It Was “You”
And Not Me!
Another Life Lesson
Gets Lost On Me
And It Becomes
Crystal Clear
I Will Be Receiving
Remedial Classes
From Life
In “How To Own Up
To Your Own Mistakes”
And The Price Of
Tuition Will Be High
Again
For The Slow Learner
That I Am
