By Charles Robert Lindholm
Now is a snowflake
of time that lands
on your tongue
you feel it
you taste it
it was real
but then
it is gone
you savored it
you saved it
as a memory
but there is
no proof
no trophy
of the moment
to show
snowflakes
leave no momentos
dried flowers
in a book
prove there was
a Spring
Snowflakes
leave only memories
of a now with you
I will never forget
and that is proof
enough for my heart
