What am I to You?
a spouse, a friend, a lover
a ship passing in the night
a momentary pleasure
a memory with no name

What am I to You?
a soulmate for a lifetime
a playmate for a good time
or just a fellow traveler
on life’s journey

What am I to You?
commitment forever
a kindred spirit for sometimes
or maybe a no strings attachment
for whenever

I’m just asking
so I know,
so my heart
and my soul
can be prepared
for what lies ahead

and my choices
