She may not tell you plainly
or whisper in your ear
but if you listen closely
I’m sure that you will hear
The sound of a happy heart
humming soft and low
it’s the telltale sound of a happy wife
it’s a sound that I love so
So, if you hear no humming
coming from your wife
be forewarned and knowing
of how she feels about her life
The telltale sign of a happy wife
is a happy heart
that’s softly humming

I shall take this excellent advice Charles, but here’s a question for you, how do you distinguish a hum from the beginning of a roar? 🙂

Ha! Well, a hum is usually soft and sweet and with no “outside” motivation or inspiration – self induced??

I just got asked if I hum when I steam clean the floors and I had to admit that I don’t – I don’t think this applies to guys?
