A SNOWFLAKE ON HER TONGUE

By Charles Robert Lindholm

I think back
to the days
when we were young
and we caught
snowflakes on our tongue

We made angels
in the snow
but that was long ago

Cutoff from
the world
we knew
I learned of love
a gift from You
in a cabin
in the snow
but that was long ago

And time it keeps
on passing
dwindling moments
down to one
and the last thing
that I long to be

Is a Snowflake

melting

on Your tongue
