Softly Sundown comes
to put the day to bed
dusting off the dirt
kissing the hurts
wrapping the world
in a blanket of darkness
whispering hope
for tomorrow
humming softly and sweetly
as the light goes out

Umm.. Well that’s such a sweet -lovely thing you said so Thank You!💟
And yeah what a person just sees as sundown the poet has found so much more in it! It’s about thinking and observing and making a story out of it… It’s amazing.
