STAINED GLASS LIGHT

By Charles Robert Lindholm. 2-28-2017. At 6:30 a.m.

I see the image of Jesus
In the darkness of the night
Extending love to everyone
Through, the stained glass light

STAINED GLASS OF JESUS WITH OUTSTRETCHED ARMS 40 PERCENT
From sea to shining sea
A healing love like falling rain
On saints and sinners like me

Inspired by passing a church in the morning darkness with the light shining out through a stained glass image of Jesus.  Very impressive!

      1. My pleasure! And I am not too bad thanks, nothing exciting to report I’m afraid. Figuring out some health stuff, like most people. 🙂 Apart from the daily blessings of house and home and people who love me. And WP!!! Very grateful. How are you?

  1. Vanessa, it is so wonderful to see You. I am sorry to hear about the issues You are having to deal with. You will be in our hearts and prayers! WP is a family in and of itself, isn’t it. I love it too.

I’m doing good! I’ve gone through my archives, old bones, driftwood! You get the picture. Going to start a “Driftwood Memories Collection – Memories of the past”. Things from the “Dark Days” after my 2nd divorce. 3rd time has been the charm! Ha! Hope to hear from You soon.

  2. Speaking of poetry, Jesus is….

    The Star of The Show

    Jesus calls us to Himself
    When The Show begins
We’re infants – so He humors us
    It’s “Rocky and His Friends”

Like a little squirrel dressed up
    As a flying superhero
    We give ourselves The Title
And zoom around the atmosphere Oh!

I have come to save the day!
We proclaim with a big smile
    And Jesus is my co-pilot
So I’m always on top of the pile

God our Father loves his children
He is patient as we grow
    So we take another step
It’s “The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show”

As we journey with The Moose
    Faithfully by our side
    We get a revelation
We have to swallow our pride

    “He must become greater”
    He really is The Star
“I must become less,” but still
    With Him I’ll travel far

“You must follow me,” says Jesus
In His eyes I see a twinkle
He is not MY friend I am HIS
Jesus is The Star – like Bullwinkle
