I’M JEALOUS OF THE WORDS I WRITE

By Charles Robert Lindholm

I’m jealous of the words I write

knowing  they’ll be touching you

deep in your heart, while we’re apart

and I’m alone in the night without you

Your eyes read the words, “I Miss You”

as they rise to your lips and kiss you

I long for your touch

and miss you so much

That I’m jealous of the words I write

caressing your Soul in the night

    1. Wow!! What an honor from You, Dear Sir!! I need to be happy for them but as you can completely understand, I am also jealous at times when they generate joy or tears and I can’t be there to give the real hug the reader deserves!!! Thanks so much for Your comments and support. I have such fantastic friends like You and others we love that provide the wind beneath my wings! I am blessed to fly with all!!!
