BECOMING ONE

No flesh

No bones

No blood

to bleed

but still

a hunger burning

with a

deeper need

No skin

to touch

No lips

to kiss

The Soul

survives

on more

than this

with a Spirit’s

Love and Passion

hotter than the sun

They’re burned

and they’re  bonded

Two Souls

Becoming One

BECOMING ONE D

it’s Magic

and

it’s Mystery

A METAMORPHIC CHANGE

Two Souls

like Stars

colliding

  1. Yes, I do too! Love the bigger Universe! Please check out PoetGirlEm’s Stars – 6 words. I think you will love it and say hi from me!!! And don’t forget Singledust’s “Sweet Whisphers #6” – this to me is such a stunning piece. I’ve reread this at least 20 times and love it more each time as the deeper inner meanings seep deeper into my soul.

    1. I loved the emphasis on the lack of a traditional physical relationship and how it did not impede the establishment of a deep, emotional and loving bond. Soulmates aren’t always spouses and lovers! Thank you for your kind words.

      1. Agreed, are you familiar with Plato’s Symposium? It is about love and there is a great metaphor for love described comically as two halves of a wheel broken apart looking for one another to be whole. You have found your soulmate when you have found the other half of your wheel.
