THE BOND REMAINS UNBROKEN

THE BOND REMAINS UNBROKEN

By Charles Robert Lindholm

Though we’re worlds apart

The bond remains unbroken

THE BOND REMAINS UNBROKEN

Friends can still talk heart to heart

though words are never spoken

SOMETIMES THE PEOPLE WHO ARE THOUSANDS OF MILES AWAY

        1. Ha! I think You just missed it. Sailorpoet used it in his “Checking in on the Reluctant Poet” (he nailed me pretty good in that one. You should check it out.) But it may be a new word as you say! Not Unreluctant yet but moving at glacial speed in that direction. Thanks so much for your kind words.

Change of subject: Sailorpoet and I would both like to converse with you offline. Would you send me an email to: chucklindholm@hotmail.com and I will see that Mr. S gets it too, if that is Ok with you?

    1. Yes, what I love most about this is the title “The Bond Remains Unbroken”. For me it reinforces the truth of emotional and spiritual bonding. Once You have connected with a Friend time and distance cannot separate You from the bonds we have made. Almost like a Friendship pledge?

      1. Friendship is very important and sacred, I have friendships that have lasted many decades and never want to lose the sweet fragrance of true friendship that nurtures and brings people closer to being a better person eventually.

        1. I agree with You completely! To have a True Friend is a blessing and a sacred trust. It’s like guys that have shared a foxhole together. No matter what they are bonded for life! That’s the way I feel about friends.

        1. I feel exactly the same way My Friend and it is really wonderful to connect in “Real Time”! Of course for me it is 2:45 p.m. in Texas and you are in “The Backside Of The Night” on a Sunday morning. Have a great Sunday and lots of fun.
