KINDRED SPIRITS
By Charles Robert Lindholm 3-6/7-2017 from 11:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Even though
we’re Worlds Apart
our Hearts are
Bound and Tethered
with Unspoken Words
Still Understood
by Two Souls who
Come Together
Rising High
in Ecstasy
Soaring
Toward the Sun
Kindred Spirits
Sweetly Sing
as they’re
Blending
into
One

I want to give inspirational credit to Kindred Spirit:
Gina – Singledust for the last lines of her Poem “Each Moment“
“It’s like thinking
the same thoughts
In two different minds
But reaching
a conclusion
That’s divine”
Also, a thanks to Kindred Spirits and Friends – S at Sailorpoet and DavyD! Please click on each of their names for a Pingback
Wao. Awesome poem. Love this one.

I am so honored you felt this and enjoyed it! I’m trying to do more of that simple and flowing thing – following DavyD’s (Inside the Mind of DavyD) ability to be so concise and awesome in just 3 lines. Thanks for stopping by! Wish we could be sharing some cup of coffee and chatting.

Charles this is an excellent poem and has a shamanic Native American Indian feel to it. Thank you for the kind words and kindred spirits will always flock and fly together 🙂

Flocking and flying together sounds like a great thing to me! A Tribe?? I appreciate your kind words and time spent here!! I love Kindred Spirits!! You can’t ask for anything much better than that. I’m thinking of putting a post together of Kindred Spirit quotes. What do you think??

I subscribe to the Shamanic way of being Charles so I think it is a great idea. Anything that can foster a kindred tribe would be a joy 🙂

How funny…what you said about the seed planting, I said the exact same thing just 2 days ago to the friend who planted the seed in my mind to start blogging. He refused any credit, but it was because of him, and I’m grateful. 🙂
Kindred spirits are indeed one of the greatest gifts in life!

How wonderful? Eerie? Universal? Whatever, it is great to have people that think enough of us to want us to succeed and “Nudge” us to get out of our comfort zone and take on a new challenge and pursue something we love! I’m so happy you have such a wonderful friend and for the seed he gave you to plant or planted and said, Here take care of it? Don’t let him get away with turning down credit! I think those that help us and are part of our lives deserve all the credit. After all, what does a farmer do but put the seed in the ground. But for the seed there would be no harvest?
Yes, Kindred Spirits are truly a gift and a treasure. I feel that way about Sailorpoet, DavyD and especially Singledust and won’t let any of them beg off from praise or credit. They are my “Inspirators” and I love their Nudges and their Seeds!
Thanks for stopping and for sharing your great comment!!

Thank you. It was an interesting day. We attended the funeral of the father of one of my closest childhood friends. It was very beautiful, but surreal. Hasn’t sunk in yet.
My friend, who planted that seed…it came so out of the blue, it floored me. We hadn’t been in contact for a while, and I really had no idea he cared about me having an outlet.. We kind of drift in and out of each other’s lives, as he’s in the States. But it is amazing, the timing of things 🙂

I am so sorry to hear about your day! Never good to have someone you care about have to go through that. It was so wonderful for you to be there for him. Those events are really for those who are left behind. Just show what a great friend you are,
Interesting that he was the one that planted that seed and nudged you. It is really wonderful to have someone care and think about you in that way. Perhaps you will find some comfort and inspiration in both of the events involving your friend. It’s nice to have friends that you can just pick up with again. Life is short and it is good to stay in touch with good friends.
So glad you stopped back. I so appreciate you taking time to comment and share.

Thank you so much for your kind words!
(And I’m sorry I wasn’t clear, but they are two different friends. The one I saw yesterday, she lives in London now, so it’s been wonderful seeing her, even for this reason.)
On a lighter note, I posted my ‘back side of the night’ poem. Thank you for your encouragement 🙂

Charles this is beautiful in every sense! thank you fro the mention but they are your words formed out of the sweetness of your soul. Inspiration comes from many forms but its the final writing that’s the masterpiece. I liked it simple beauty and truth that speaks louder than words. Thank you for being a lovely presence.

Well, There is a chain of events that starts with a seed. The farmer takes it from there but there has to be a seed and I bless you for the seed! Thank you for your sweet words.
