The clock keeps time
so evenly
with a little tick
and then a toc
marking out the day
measuring the seconds
as they slowly slip away
morning, noon and then the night
mosaic pieces of each day
magical moments
wonderful memories
marking a lifetime
work of art
colored
with
tics
and
tocs

I like the concept of a life coloured with tics and tocs Charles. A nice piece of poetry.

Thanks so much!! I liked the thought of bits of our time (life) being colored by our emotions – upbeat and sunny and somber and darker and then think of them as a mosaic puzzle (like your puzzle pieces).
